Dear john, you could make your attack more powerful by leveling up your battle rating. There are a lot ways to level up your battle rating. For example you could level up your character, upgrade your gears, equipments and weapons. Socketing gems and grabbing dragon souls would also do. In fact there are so many ways to make your attack more powerful, you just have to check in game.  Enjoy the game and you'll know more along the way you level up your character.
